Alright, so the theme of the contest was 'inspirations". The idea was to make a skin of somebody who inspires you. Why that? Why would we just re-create the flesh and marrow of those we look up to? Why would we cut it short at that? Why wouldn't we create the envisionment of their minds?
Alright, allow me to explain this skin. The face has so little detail to display the human flaws we have on our outer shells. The clothing is so simplistic because, simply put, it does not matter. The mechanical underside, mainly hidden, is to represent our souls. You are a brain controlling a body. The body does not matter: You do. And no, that is not a glitch with the arms. It's intentional, yet again to represent how easily our outer selfs can be led astray. Another thing with the mechanical skull is to represent how hardwired our minds are: They aren't easily led astray, but when they are, they take time and effort to correct. Now, how is this related to the people who inspire me? Because it is them, all of them.
This basically defies everything in the contest. But who cares.
