Here again with another ancient Germanic skin! This skin portrays a ancient Germanic mans dress from around the 1st century BC to the 3rd century AD, so just somewhere roughly in the Germanic Iron Age period.
You could probably also use this for later periods in the Migration period or maybe even for an Anglo Saxon or Viking with a little bit of modifying. I did include the famous Suebian knot that was popular during the classical period of Germanic history but it ended up being a little hard to see on dark hair. I may fix this in the future but no promises lol.
You might notice I got a little experimental with the colors this time and I was skeptical at first with the results, but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I did base it on an actual reenactors example though.
I was motivated partially to make this skin in order to help show that ancient peoples who lived "north" weren't just savages who wore dull brown leather and fur jumpsuits like many pop culture depictions would lead people to believe, and instead were actually dressed in very bright colors a lot of the time. Shades of red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and many other colors were quite prevalent among all social classes among all sorts of ancient cultures, even among the Germanic and Celtic tribes.
