Hello my fellow minecraftians! Aidan here, and I have decided to switch over to skinning for a few weeks. Not forever, so my blogging heart hasn't ran away yet, so no worries. I might start doing skinning more than blogging, cause I had a blast making this skin.

   I use McSkin3D for my skinning program!

   I loved creating my own gumball. The tail took me some time to make, for I kept on messing up. I am real happy with the resaults. The band on the hands were shaded, and I have a picture to show that.

Completely re-did the shirt again, the back, the tail, the hands, the legs, the feet, and the bands. They all look shaded now!

You can't add very light shading and expect people to notice it. If you want people to notice it, you should match the shading on the body and other parts with the head. It looks inconsistent and unfinished.

It's a little hard to explain. Lemme just say I use McSkin3D, and there is a tool that lets you accurately changet he color to get perfect shading. I put the darkest, or lightest color in the 4 corners, then I raise the color a bit, and take it in a little, and continue this until the middle. This is my head. For my legs on this skin, I did the same thing, but I did it from top to bottom, and from dark to light to give it that shadowy look. For the arms, I do the head technique, and for the tail, I just outline it, then using the lighte and darken tool, I shade the inside of the tail.
