He is the main character of Silent Hill 2. He murdered his wife and he was lured into Silent Hill with a mysterious letter written "by his wife". In Silent Hill, the creatures are made from your deepest and darkest fears. Pyramid Head, a reoccurring monster, is James' deep cry for the punishment and despair he deserves for what he has done.
