Jim had been an adventurer, exploring the seas. But when his ship wrecked, he was lost on a deserted island. He knew about how to survive, so he was pretty sure he could do that, at least for a while. He also had supplies from the ship, like tools and weapons.
  So Jim built a shelter and collected food. As the months went by, his clothes became torn. However, he used the tools he had from the ship to hunt for food. He used the fur from animals he hunted to repair some of the holes in his clothing. He also collected various plants from the island and planted them. Soon he had a farm going, so he had plenty of food, and a good variety of it.
  One day, as Jim was watching the sunrise over the ocean, he saw a shape in the distance. As it approached, he saw that it was a ship! The ship came to the island. It had a crew of explorers who had been traveling through that area. Jim was overjoyed that he was finally able to return home from the island.
