  Jim's Story:

  After getting shipwrecked on an uninhabited island, Jim was forced to survive. First he build a temporary shelter by a freshwater spring he found in the middle of the island. Day by day he worked. He hunted and fished for food and he had the spring for water. He killed a larger animal and used it's hide to fashion a man skirt of sorts. He was able to make a slingshot with parts of his old belt and shoot a few tropical birds. He then decided to wear the feathers. He used leaves and remade the design on his favorite dog Brodo on the back of his vest, vowing never to forget his lost companion. He made a hat out of a bright green turtle shell that he found on the beach. He also refashioned his boots into sandals to better cope with the heat of his tropical home.He soon came to enjoy the island. He didn't want to leave. He was peaceful away from people, and his island home provided new adventures every day. The next thing on his to-do list is to make himself a new shirt. He's not sure if he wants to make it out of animal skins or feathers, but that's not important. He has an amazing new home.
