Dear diary,
Today was pretty weird. We found a ship crashed in the Grover Meadow. The person whom arose from the ship looked almost like a witch, except with, I dunno, less pointy features? He claimed he was a human from Earth. I always wondered what Earth was like after reading on some of its history. At least, what's left of it, anyway.
After we encountered him, Scrap invited him over for dinner at the lab. I was, already bewildered by the arrival of this human, and now he was invited over for dinner?? He was actually kind of normal I guess. He was like one of the people here, I even forgot he came from interstellar space for a moment. He was pretty nice.
Scrap wanted him to work with us at the lab. He said it would be nice to have another member, that it'd surely speed up things here. I instantly agreed. I don't know why I acted so quickly, I barely knew this guy. I still don't even know his name.
Now, Scrap doesn't sleep much. Heck, he doesn't even have a bed. So by order of elimination, that means he - the human - has to sleep with me. I objected at first, but then I thought how I've always been sleeping alone these past few years. I thought It'd be nice to have some company, so I acquiesced.
He must have been very, very exhausted. He fell asleep almost a minute after laying on my bed. I should hit the sack too. It's been a weird day for everybody here.
