A Kasa-obake is a mythical yōkai (ghost) in Japanese folklore. They are umbrellas generally depicted with one eye and one leg. They are also sometimes said to be Tsukumogami. A Japanese term generally understood as "any object that has reached their 100th birthday and thus become alive and self-aware". Kasa-obake are also frequently used as characters in video games, anime, manga, and movies that usually have a theme on yōkai.
