Based off a 'Space Joke'. Lunar, being the moon, and tick being an animal - both morphed together to make 'Lunar-tick'... the tick that thrives on the moon.
Among the weightlessness of the bright and gravity assisted Moon, there is an unknown creature that lurks in the cold darkness. The tick, being small and sneaky, found its way to another planetary abyss - well, not that far from Earth actually The well known Moon is now the homeland of the hated tick, although the original tick still thrives on Earth in its silent matter.
The tick found its way to the Moon through a loop hole in the Human system. The 'thing' that lead them to the Moon, was the test subject for one of the first 'Space Journeys'. This creature was known as the Monkey, or chimp. The ticks latched themselves onto the hairy creature they loved so dearly, and suckled away. While the chimps were being prepped for their journey, the ticks (starting off small) were hidden from all Human intelligence, and were able to sneak their way onto the almighty Spacecraft.
During the rattling journey through the atmosphere of Earth and through the abyss of space towards the Moon, the ticks were sent through a spiraling through an obnoxious and life threatening time. The new conditions of the spacecraft, and atmosphere around the spacecraft were different to the ticks, but that was no problem for them. They thrived off other animals, and once they were attached, they were the animal. They could live off the support of the chimps.
Once the ticks were ready their large, blood filled bodies were able to descend from the chimps body, and float unwillingly through any part of the spacecraft. Incidentally, they managed to sneak themselves through vents in the spacecraft, detach a few of the main cables, and into outer space. Now, how could they survive outside of space? Let's just say, that the blood from the chimps are keeping them from exploding and drifting off into space, Okay? The magic chimp blood allowed them to drift off to the closest gravitational pull, which was the Moon at the time.
Once they were able to land slowly onto the moon, a shadow formed above them. The spacecraft they had just come from was descending onto the moon, with red flashing lights. KABOOM... The spacecraft had crash landed onto the Moon, with the chimps inside.
Coincidentally after a long period of time on the Moon, the magic blood from the chimps had given them the chance to evolve, and become like the chimp. They grew larger, and were able to fit into the space suits in one of the spacecrafts rooms. The suit would allow them to thrive even more, and prepare for the long awaited peak of the ticks survival. The ticks, were now Lunar-ticks. No, really... they were lunatics. They were planning to salvage the items from the wrecked spacecraft, and build a civilization. Now that... should be interesting.
So.. finally finished my contest skin, and uploaded it for this wonderful contest. Every skin contest voting poll I have participated in has been entertaining... and this time was no different. I choose the contest I would like to participate in, and the one I fear most is chosen... The one I have no ideas for. Although, everytime the contest I fear most is thrown at me, I manage to figure something out. This time, I made the story a little more interesting and twisted.
After many attempts at refining this skin, I finally chose one that I liked. I started off with thinking of ideas, and one of those was the Lunar-tick. I asked a fellow friend, and he highly suggested me to use the idea... so, I did. I went on thinking of what I could do. One idea was to have a white space outfit, and a tick's head as the 'head'. I then searched the PMC Skins sections for space outfits, and noticed 'a lot' of white space outfits, and no orange ones. So, I gave myself the challenge, and managed to create this. I reckon this is the first 'Orange Space Outfit' out there. The head, was another story. It took many attempts to make it resemble a tick, but I still don't think I managed that. The colours were a little different to what I normally create, but a contest tests you...
I think I have managed to tick every guideline there is for this contest. Thanks for reading, and good luck to all those who have entered this contest.
