Okay, here is a really cheesy story. XD I'm not good at stories lol. ._.
Once, in a far away land, there was a large kingdom called Liddium. Hundreds of wealthy citizens roamed under the protection of a king and queen, named King George III, and Queen Marybeth. Both were kind and generous, demanding low taxes and helping the unfortunate. The kingdom had nobles, citizens, merchants, and of course, peasants. One peasant served for a rich family who owned the main farmland of the kingdom. Her name was Lydia. She was different from all the other peasants, because as a child, she was the only girl of her 8 sibling family. She had to stand up for herself, and also along the way learned to fight. She was the best fighter of all of her family, especially in defense. All of her brothers became knights when they grew up, but even as an incredible fighter, Lydia of course, as a girl from a poor family, became a peasant at the age of 13. When her masters were not at home, she would practice fighting and swordfighting with her broomstick. Once, she even broke a mirror by accident! She had to make up the excuse that she had tripped and stuck out her broomstick to block her fall, and hit it. She daydreamed to one day lead Liddium's army and defeat Liddium's enemy kingdom, called Esterdom. They had never broken through the high walls of Liddium, but recently they had been coming closer.
One day, when Lydia was 17 years old, Esterdom was on the verge of defeating Liddium's army and breaking through the walls. And soon after, they did! When Lydia was 18, she had grown to be the most beautiful women in Liddium. She had blazing red-brown hair, and was very polite to everyone. Her Emerald eyes widened when she had heard the news from her master that the walls had been broken. That meant all 7 of her brothers were dead. Gone forever. They were the only ones who knew about her strong passion for fighting. And that also meant that soon, most of the citizens of Liddium would be dead as well, including Lydia. She tried to think of something she could do, there had to be something! So she ran outside, past her master who was crying with fear, to find that the whole city was starting to crumble! All the citizens were hiding inside there houses, crying and screaming, as the Esterdomians spread out along the streets. She ran to the blacksmith across her road. The owner wasn't there, so she ran to the chest that was in the corner of the room, and opened it. She found a full set of armor, blank of anything but her reflection. No symbols, no engravings, just plain armor. She had always wanted to wear armor, and it had been a vague dream her whole life, and now she was actually putting it on. She smiled. She wasn't as scared as she expected to be the day they would invade. It fit well enough, so she grabbed a long, iron sword, and ran outside. She ran as fast as she could to the tower. The Esterdomians along the way spotted her, and chased her. They called to the rest of the knights ahead of her and they all cornered her off. There were about 5. With her fast thinking, it wasn't hard to defeat them. She was much more swift and strong than they were, and she had them dazed on the ground in seconds. She continued her way to the tower, as fast as her feet could could carry her. To her relief, she made it, and she clambered up the ladder that was along the side of the tower, about 40 feet. When she reached the top, she was out of breath, but didn't care. She grabbed the horn on the top, used for announcements. Usually, there was a special horn person who would blow the horn, and people would gather around to hear his important announcement. But today, it was Lydia, and as she blew the horn, she saw about 40 heads look up. They were all Esterdomians. All of the citizens were inside, awaiting there death. She blew it again. This time, some citizens poked their heads out of their windows. With the rest of her breath that remained, she blew the horn for 6 seconds straight. Some of the enemy knights were charging for the tower, to kill Lydia. She didn't care. She called out to all of Liddium into a special horn that made your voice much louder.
"People of Liddium!" Her voice cracked.
"Grab your pitchforks, torches, spare swords, anything! We can all come together and beat the Esterdomians! There are three times more people in our kingdom than theirs! We can beat them! If we don't try, we will lose for certain! Go out and fight! You have nothing to lose! Be brave!"
And with that, hundreds of citizens, holding weapons of many kinds, stormed out of their houses and attacked the Esterdomians as a group. And Lydia, the courageous knight, clambered back down the ladder to the ground. She fought alongside with brave citizens. She was a leader! Even if she died, she knew she had accomplished her goal. Within a few days, the war was over. Liddium had won! Lydia, and most of the citizens, had survived. King George III and Queen Marybeth ranked Lydia as army leader, and she even got her own armor, with the symbol of Liddium on the cape and helmet. Liddium flourished for a long time afterwords, and no one ever forgot the story of the courageous knight named Lydia.
