Not many of us are aware that there are multiple universes....
To my understanding, the way it works is that when certain pivotal events occur, or right before they take place as it may be, it can somehow cause the current timeline to split. I'm not an expert. It confuses me greatly, but something else can come from a shattered universe - something that's difficult to understand, let alone explain.
I don't know how this works. Are there gods... or certain mortals who are capable of not only observing an inevitable future, but then causing these universal divides?
I can't imagine how much power and burden an ability like that would provide for someone.

It seems that this has happened to my own world. I wasn't aware until I found the crystal. I don't know how it works exactly, but when it's activated, it casts a portal-like screen beside its holder. It's opaque, but objects and creatures can pass through it as if it wasn't there. I think it's some sort of reflections of light. That 'screen' displays images of another world. in real time.
Can anyone harness this power, or can only 'chosen ones' activate it?
With enough power, one can communicate with those in the timeline being observed. Through audible voices or telepathy. Crazier still, images, in a style much like the crystal's screen can be casted into that world. These projections can be used to communicate through, although it consumes large amounts of energy to maintain.

This brings us to Marianne.
With proper utilisation of the crystal, and the proper conservation of my stamina, I can use both the image projecting properties and my oversight to offer guidance to those in the other timeline.
She's a golden goddess dressed in pure white robes and silky hair that flow as if they were underwater.

I'll leave it up to those in that timeline to determine the truth about her...
