One of the 8 Mavericks in charge of Sigma's Maverick horde, Boomer Kuwanger was a former Maverick Hunter who joined Sigma's maverick forces when he was infected with the Sigma virus. He was given control of a massive tower fortress, until X arrived and destroyed him and cleared out his forces. Boomer Kuwanger's design is that of a Japanese stag beetle, his primary weapons are boomerangs, and he uses his stealth and acrobatic techniques to truly be a slippery target. In game the homing missiles obtained from Launch Octopus are his weakness, and the weapon obtained upon defeating him is the boomerang cutter.
