Description
The Mk32 is an exo-suit that is widely used in emergancy personnel. From saving victims from car accidents to breaching into a gang hideout, there is a variety of tasks this suit is able to accomplish.
Story
It was an average weekday in the month of June. New York's traffic seems do be flowing fine surprsingly. I glanced at the speed limit sign.
"100," it said.
I peeked at my speedometer. I was going 95 mph.
I see the city's skyline on the horizon. I was eager to present my proposal for the company. I hope they would enjoy it. What if they don't? I became shocked. A chill runs down my spine. I was becoming worried of the negative outcome. This is my only opportunity to impress the founder.
Suddenly, the windshield lit up.
"ACCIDENT AHEAD,STOP" it showed in large letters.
I attempted to turn on emergancy systems immdiately. I press the button but nothing happened. I pressed it several more times. Nothing.
"EMERGANCY SYSTEMS MALFUNCTION!" the windsheild showed.
My heart nearly stopped at the moment. I then remember I was able to stop manually. I switched the car from auto-drive to manual-drive. I slammed my foot on the brakes pedal. A deafening screech from the wheels were heard. I was nearly leaning on top of the steering wheel. In the distance, I can see the crash. It looked bad. My car was still going 60 mph. I was probably 50 feet from the accident by now. I knew I wouldn't stop in time. I braced myself.
I heard a loud bang and the shattering of glass. I felt my forehead crash into the dashboard from the impact. Then, blackness.
I hear loud footsteps. It was coming closer, closer, and closer. My eyes opened slowly. I noticed the car is now flipped over. My hood is flat. I was laying on the ceiling. I felt a painful sting on my forehead. I used my palm to feel where it was hurting. I felt something wet. I looked at my hand. Blood. By now, I can see the feet of the thing I was hearing. I can hear some mechanical sounds. I now know it was an emergency unit.
"Help! Help!" I cried.
The feet stepped beside my car. It leaned down to see the window. He can clearly see me laying in the car.
"Don't worry, we will get you out of here," said the man in the suit.
The unit stood back up. I then hear some more glass shattering and metal bending. The door of my car unexpected was unexpectedly thrown open. The unit reached his hand inside.
"Are you hurt? Come with me. Paramedics are ready to take car of you," it explained.
