Hello everyone! I hope you like this skin as well as the backstory! Take note that the story is in modern day.

Arista isn't like any other person. She used to be a mermaid, until the stormy day...

It was a stormy night, the biggest storm she'd ever been in. The waters were rough, swinging her from side to side. She'd gone up to the surface just to see the stars, but then the storm came out of no where. The water rocked her from side to side and the wind tugged and pulled at her hair and pieces of coral and rocks and other things were flying underwater. She tried to dodge everypiece as she tried to make her way back to the palace, but a giant piece of coral hit her, knocking her unconcious...

The next thing she knew, she was on an island. She looked down, and saw that she had legs. She looked gorgeous. A ship with a skull on the sails passed by and saw her. She knew she'd die, she'd heard the stories of what happened to merpeople when pirates, of all people, found them. But as the captian of the ship walked over to the edge, she didn't see a disguisting old pirate. She saw a handsome man. At first she wasn't even sure it was the captain, maybe just a prisoner of royalty, but no. He was in fact the captain. He had blonde hair like the sun and his blue eyes shone like the sea. He wore a black jacket and jeans, a leather hat with a feather in it. She was taken prisoner, and the captain came to see her everyday in secret. She learned that his name was Kai, and she learned from him that he was very young for a pirate, or even a captain:17. She learned that he had sailed the seas since he was a baby and his father and mother had died during a storm while fighting a haunted ship:The Boat of Black Death. She told him about her as well. She was 15, and used to be a mermaid. He didn't take advantage of that at all, he actually asked her questions. What was it like to be underwater all the time? Could she talk to the sea creatures? How did she live without air? A week passed, and Kai and Arista confessed their love for each other. Yes, very corny indeed (XD). She became Co-Captian, and they lived happily ever after.





Oh wait, whats this? There are still more pages to the book? But I've read this story over and over again and it always ends here... Oh well, I'm supposed to read it all, so I guess I will.

Now, most merpeople when they dissapear are gone for only about 3 months but Arista was gone for about 6 months. One of Arista's father's friends was Posiden. Posiden told her father that Arista had been captured by pirates, and this made Arista's father very mad. He asked for Posiden to create a storm because whenever there was a storm, a pirate crew died in the hands of The Boat of Black Death.

So Posiden agreed and.... oh... oh no... I.. this is just too cruel. Let's make a long story short and say that Kai and his crew didn't make it because The Black Death crew got involved...
Once Arista fell off of the ship and touched the water, she turned back into a mermaid. She tried to get back on and while she was trying, she saw a harpoon from The Boat of Black Death hit him in the chest, killing him instantly. The pain she had was so unbarable, she fell to the bottom of the ocean. Later, a merman found her, found her dead. But he saw something moving inside of her stomach. She was pregnant. He got the baby out by splitting open Arista's stomach. The baby almost died without oxegyn, but the merman returned it to shore just in time. The baby was a girl and something told him to name the baby Morgane. Morgane survived on a tiny island with the merman, who had somehow grown legs. She later figured out it was the son of Posiden, her mother's father. At the age of 10, she learned her mother's story, and decided on her own to avenge her parents.

To this day, she still wanders the ocean on her boat, KaiArista to find The Boat of Black Death and avenge her parents.
