The Mystic Woodlands

  The Mystic Woodlands for centuries were thought to be only a legend. Tales of a place so wild, that the forest itself was said to be alive. Many sought to find the woodlands, but no one new where to look. But even more, none knew how they came to be. There were only stories, each with its own degree of truthfulness. I will relate one of these.

  A man by the name of John Codner was inspired by the tales of the forest and he set out on a journey to find them. The woodlands then, were not alive. Well, as it is told, Codner traveled to the Misty Valley; in which, lies the Darkwood Forest. Inside the Darkwood, was the supposed location of the Mystic Woodlands. Codner traveled through the valley, which known by its name, was filled with mist and fog. Men rarely have ever made it to the Darkwood, but Codner was one of these men. He made it inside the Darkwood and traveled toward its center. And as he supposed, in the center of the Darkwood was the Mystic Woodlands. He entered the forest, and found it to be too good to be true. He never left. Codner lived his life and on his death the woodland's magic absorbed Codner's spirit into itself, thus allowing the forest to come alive. The forest now wanders from place to place, bringing it's home, the Misty Valley with it. No man who has ever entered has come back. The place is too beautiful to ever leave. So if you want to journey there yourself, seek the Misty Valley. Just know that the Mystic Woodlands never stay in the same place for long, so be quick and beware for none know what to expect.
