Update for next time: I will use my main channel for speedpainting Undertale skins, but they will be unlisted and only accessible from PMC.

Napstablook is a ghost that sits in your way close to the start of the game. He is the first mini-boss, and cannot be killed since he is incorporeal. If you choose to spare him, then he shows you his hat, the "dapper blook." He then pops up later in the game where you can come into his house, listen to his songs, and lie on the floor. In Undertale, most ghosts live inside dummies. It is confirmed by the Mad Dummy in mid-game that Napstablook was in the dummy at the start.
