My personal favorite of all of Lovecraft's monsters, the Nightgaunt. They are the servants of the Lord of the Great Abyss, Nodens. They live in dreams a feed upon emotion.
A a huge fan of Lovecraft and an avid reader of his (non-racist) works, I hope I did it justice.
