This is my first entry to a contest so bear with me so bear with me:
It's sort of a horror based entry.

I was walking back to my house. It was pitch-black; I couldn't see anything, I swear, I just trusted my gut.

Something is following me... I cant see it. I know it's there.
I see to glowing red spots, coming closer and closer and closer I cant take it anymore.

I'm running now.

It caught me, now I feel different. Almost darker. My eyes are open now, and I can see.

I made it back now, but when I open the door and say Hi to my sister, she looks at me, her expression says only one thing. She falls over and and screams louder and louder... ugh... no more screaming. Stop screaming.

I look in the mirror to see a face that isn't me. Those eyes... I'll never forget those eyes.

I now wear this mask to protect the good ones, the ones who don't scream. No more screaming. Stop screaming. I try to help but they always scream. No more. No more
