Although Nova looks like an average being, she is unlike any other girl. Nova is the daughter of the moon & stars. She was left upon a couple's doorstep one dark evening, with a tiara placed perfectly beside the baby.
As Nova got older, her parents felt it was time to tell her the truth. At this time, they also presented her the crown that had been with her the day they found her. Nova was filled with betrayal. Why had her parents waited so long to tell her? Nova stormed off into her room then climbed out of her window, onto the roof. She placed the crown carefully beside her and leaned back, taking in the peaceful nightsky. The nightky had always calmed her down. She felt like the sky would speak to her. As she observed the sky, she noticed one star glimmering more than the rest. The star was huge! It twinkled brightly towards Nova. Nova smiled wide with delight. They really were speaking to her. Nova turned her head towards the tiara and sat up. She grabbed hold of it, admiring its beauty, then placed it upon her head.
