fun fact: They wern't actually even real doctors, one "doctor" was a fruit vender before becoming a "doctor". Plague Doctors were actually just thieves, because infected people would give up anything in order to be cured. They often robbed people of all there money with fake remedies. 
Another fun fact: That beak came from the believe at the time that the plague came from the air, so those beaks were filled with air filters, so that the "doctor" hopefully wouldn't get sick while handing out "remedies".
