yes i know the emoji i used is a cherry BUT THERE WERE NO POMEGRANATE EMOJIS 😭😭😭 this skin was inspired by the song Pomegranate seeds (By Julian Moon) but also by the myth of Persephone, Basically Zeus marries off Persephone to Hades without actually telling anyone (father of the year right there) he doesn't even tell Persephone or her mother Demeter (the goddess of agriculture)
[in some versions of the story cupid makes hades fall in love with Persephone] one day Persephone is picking flowers and then hades pops out of the ground and kidnaps her dragging her down to the underworld (I know super romantic right)

Demeter is very upset that Persephone has just gone AWOL she wanders the earth looking for her, eventually, the sun god tells her what happened to Persephone and needless to say she's not happy with Zeus (surprise surprise) so Demeter refuses to let anything grow until Persephone is returned to her and after a while everyone is like Zeus just give this woman her daughter back she's driving everyone literally crazy and we can't handle it. so hades agrees to give Persephone back for 6 months of the year only if she stays in the underworld for the other half because she ate 6 pomegranate seeds (family dinners are going to be very awkward with this lot) BUT HEY NOW WE HAVE SEASONS! WOOO!
