Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Mindy. She had light blonde hair and chestnut brown eyes. Her favorite color was mint blue, and she was a sickly child. She never left the house because she was too weak. All she ever wanted was something... Beautiful.
On Christmas Eve, Mindy looked out her cold window that was covered in frost, and saw these girls with blonde hair, like Mindy's, but these brilliant blue eyes. Mindy opened her window a smidgen and listened in on their loud conversation. The girls were talking about these new porcelain dolls with blonde hair and blue eyes, and that they were modeled off of the perfect human. Oh, how Mindy wanted one of these! These porcelain dolls sounded so... Beautiful.
Mindy called her parents to her bedroom and asked them for a beautiful porcelain doll with blonde hair and blue eyes with a mint blue dress. When her parents asked her why, she told them that the doll seemed beautiful, and because Mindy never felt like that, she wanted something beautiful to keep forever.
Her parents smiled weakly, and left her room. On Christmas Day, Mindy was helped downstairs by her parents and went to the Christmas tree, where a box was wrapped, waiting for her. Mindy excitedly opened the present, and took out a porcelain doll, with blonde hair and a mint blue dress.. but brown eyes. Chestnut brown eyes. Mindy looked disappointed, and asked her parents why they got her one with brown eyes. They told her, "Mindy, your brown eyes make you more beautiful than we could imagine. This doll doesn't need blue eyes to be beautiful, and neither do you. You're perfect the way you are and we love you."
This brought tears to Mindy's eyes. She was beautiful. Mindy hugged her doll, and decided to name her doll, Minty.
"I love you mommy and daddy."

I know it's a corny story, but seriously, there's all these dolls that are based off the perfect human, when in reality, if a Barbie doll was a real person, they probably wouldn't menstruate because they don't have enough room for the organs, so she can't be a mom. She would also have to walk on all fours due to her proportions. "Slumber Party Barbie was introduced in 1965 and came with a bathroom scale permanently set at 110 lbs with a book entitled 'How to Lose Weight' with directions inside stating simply, 'Don't eat.' " That's ridiculous. You're all perfect the way you are and you don't need to compare yourself to a doll or wish to grow up and be like one.
