project description:
16A is a genetically modified african hippo, illegally experimented on by an underground animatronic dealer (which has since been shut down) specializing in “extremely lifelike” animatronics which were distributed to unknowing children’s entertainment companies. the modifications made to the hippo to create 16A include the insertion of a robotic skeleton, the dying of the skin to a hot pink, the introduction of preservatives to the skin, and immense amounts of [INFORMATION CLASSIFIED], reducing it from the status of a living thing to that of a machine. 16A’s digestive, urinary, and circulatory systems have also been taken out. shockingly, the brain of 16A was never removed, leaving it with primitive thoughts of hunger, thirst, and a desire to escape. it is unknown if 16A feels pain, as it has proven unresponsive to most stimulation.
project procedures:
16A is to be locked in a confine resembling that of its natural habitat in sub-saharan africa. it is to be studied as humanely as possible in hopes of discovering the means by which it is able to survive without several essential organ systems. it is unnecessary to provide 16A with food or water due to its lack of a digestive system, but neuroanalysis of 16A’s brain shows that thoughts relating to hunger and thirst make up roughly 40% of its overall thought process, with the remaining 60% being divided up into varying percentages of confusion, anger, and a seemingly growing desire to leave its confines.
project apprehension:
16A was brought to the organization’s attention after an incident at a “chuck e. cheese’s” establishment involving an escape attempt by 16A and the subsequent death of a child on her 6th birthday. five agents were dispatched to the scene, eventually requiring backup of eleven more agents to successfully apprehend 16A. the memories of all surviving civilians present were wiped of the event, including all memories of the child killed by 16A.
“look, i don’t care how rare or fascinating 16A is, not only does it show a desire to escape, it’s already killed a girl. it doesn’t even seem in control of itself, something that was done to it… it’s trapped inside of its own warped, disgusting body. it needs to be destroyed.”
