Due to the destruction of the
heavenlies on different planets, those in command of earth called for
protectors to guard sustain the atmosphere of earth. The more
powerful and larger beings of earth ignored the plea, believing
themselves powerful enough to withstand any danger. Thus, the only
response came from a group of small beings about the size of a fly.
With no other choice, the commanders of earth decided to have these
creatures protect and sustain the atmosphere using whatever powers they had.
Through the
ages, these small creatures became known as Qui de Caelis (those of
the heavens). Their ability to absorb the incoming radiation, reflect
the energy of earth, and work together to destroy any objects flying
towards earth kept the population of earth safe from any incoming dangers.
Over the years, their existence has passed into
legends and myths; knowledge of them has almost become nonexistent.
However, their protection and their will to fight without recognition
have kept earth safe and allowed life to carry on.
