A mercenary is a person who takes up armed combat for personal gain. He doesn't take the killing to heart -- after all, it's only a job. He is loyal to none. . . However, that depends on how much you're willing to pay.
With this skin, I'm trying out a somewhat different style than I've been using. It's more inspired by other well-made skins, partially evolved from my own techniques, and just trying something new that looks decent.
I hope you like this new RPG skin after a while of not posting anything! Thanks for checking it out. If you like it, why not hit the diamond button? I'd really appreciate it, even if it's just one. Thanks in advance!

I really love some of your skins, seeing how much detail you try to put into them. However, you had a long pause recently, and the taste in skins on PMC have changed a lot. Not everything is to my liking.
One thing I would recommend is using higher contrast and something called hue-shifting, that's something that has really become a thing lastly. Pretty much everyone does it, no matter on what 'skill-level'. Many even think that it's basically essential for a good skin, which I don't quite agree with, but oh well. Check out a few tutorials, there are plenty on that matter.
Another thing is that I think the color-scheme looks a bit boring, most of the colors being very desaturated and brownish tones. Try to use much more vivid colors that really pop into people's eyes.
One more thing you could do in order to get attention: Use extremly minimalistic shading (that you steal from other users and just recolor), use little to no detail at all, come up with either totally generic or super ridiculous concepts (the crazier the better, it doesn't even have to be a 'good' kind of crazy) and advertise for that skin in chat 24/7. Befriend other users that will diamond your submissions by calling them 'baby' in the comments etc.
Okay, sorry for that small 'rant'. Of course, please don't do that last thing. But I can't really imagine that you'd ever even think about doing that, so I'm probably saying this to the wrong person. ;)
Anyway, good luck and have fun skinning!
Yeah, looking at the most popular skins for a while, I can see a lot has changed. Honestly I don't like the direction popularity is going, but who am I to do anything about it.
Is hue shifting using more purple colors for darkness, and yellowish for light? If so, I've been using that in the past few skins I've made, although not strongly. I don't think it looks that good if overdone.
Personally I like the muted colors and desaturated tones. Bright, vivid colors are someone irritating to me, honestly.
Yes, I'll be certain to follow this one entirely. Thanks.
Thank you for the feedback! I may have shot down all of the suggestions except the last one, but hey, I'll still use the advice. I knew what I was doing wrong and I'm simply too stubborn to change, but I suppose I'll try this advice for my next skins. Thanks again.
