After a failed assault on the spire of the evil wizard Tesla, during the second of the great Volt wars, sergeant-major Garrick was deemed unworthy and dishonorably discharged. Stripped of his standing and declared a pariah, he now roams the the sub-levels of the second largest hive city, also know as "The Beehive".

His only hope of returning to society is to find and awaken the guardians of old and overthrow the corrupt and decadent upper-class.
Having only the charred fragments of a map and the arcane Piezo crystal, he still has a long road ahead of him.

Made the skin a little lighter and reworked the lighting a bit.
Added mud to the boots.

Very nice, as always, but I feel like this skin could use a bit more definition between elements. If you don't mind a suggestion, perhaps a bit of drop shadow around/below the backpack, and adjust some of the contrast where the sleeves meet the arms would help define them better?

I see your point, I'll update it in the next few days. The boots and pants will probably be my main focus, there's not a lot of room on the backpack though. But I'll figure something out.
