Kirisaki Shidou (桐崎 獅童) is one of the 10 prisoners in MILGRAM. His code number is 005.

He is voiced by Nakamura Shuugo.

Character Description

A tall male prisoner with gentle expressions. He is considered to be one of the more senior prisoners in MILGRAM, and he is cool-headed and calm, or at least not easily perturbed. When meeting with the prison guard, realising that they were far younger than himself, he seemed to treat them like a child in an attempt to make them feel comfortable. Despite being in an unfamiliar place like MILGRAM, he still wishes for himself to be consented to capital punishment.

Background

Some hints were given about Shidou's background in "Throw Down", but for the time being, very little has been confirmed.

Shown through the visuals in his first trial song, Shidou works as a doctor at an unnamed medical facility.

Revealed in a MILGRAM Portal conversation, he is always found wearing gloves because without them he feels as if "they're being grinded when they're not covered.." This seems similar to the condition Finger Paresthesia, but that is yet to be confirmed.

Shidou is part of the Smokers Group within the prison, a group including Kazui, Mikoto, and himself.

Personality

A calm and serene prisoner, it's almost impossible to see him perturbed. Shidou treats those younger than him as children, to comfort them. He's satisfied with being a prisoner and even wishes for the death penalty.

• Kirisaki means "paulownia" (桐) (kiri) and "cape, peninsula" (崎) (saki).
• Shidou means "lion" (獅) (shi) and "juvenile, child" (童) (dou).
