Dude I know :O If only you can add stuff to the character that isn't part of the model. Kind of like how you can do with the helmets, but add like.. wings or what have you, I can see a huge jump in creativity for skins, however skins seem to be the most populated section of planetminecraft because a ton of people upload crap they spent 10 seconds on and for the most part is the easiest thing to create.
