Generations is pretty freakin' awesome. Great concept, great execution. Just a real love letter to the greatest heroes of DC's Golden & Silver Ages.

True! But there was this comic in 1997 called Batman/Captain America, written and drawn by John Byrne, that both DC and Marvel have confirmed took place on Earth-3938 of the DC multiverse! That same earth is home to John Byrne's Superman & Batman: Generations, also written and drawn by John Byrne.
