Good news: I think I finally understand hue-shifting.
Bad news: I think I did it wrong.

The silks are supposed to tie around her feet, around her wrists (she's also holding it) and extend past her shoulder (so it wouldn't be shown on the skin).

In Russia, if your family were in a lot of debt, you could sell a maximum of one of your children to the circus. Svetlana, at age 10, was sold to the local circus,Tsirk Poddelki. Svetlana was taught in the circus art of aerial silks, alongside a 15-year-old boy called Grigor who too was sold to the circus.

Fast-foward some-odd years, Svetlana and Grigor were the main attraction of Tsirk Poddelki. Grigor and her performed a duet aerial silk performance, both performing to a version of "Diamonds", layered over each other. On Grigor's side of the arena, they blared The Spine's cover. On Svetlana's side, they blasted Rihanna's original version. If you didn't know better, you would think Svetlana and Grigor were dating.

In an unfortunate accident, Grigor was attacked and killed when one of the circuses lions got loose. That day, Svetlana was planning on telling Grigor that she was pregnant with his child. When the circus went through Grigor's stuff after the funeral about a week later, Svetlana picked up a black velvet box. Inside the velvet box held a small ring. On the day Grigor died, he was also planning on proposing to Svetlana.

A few months later, Svetlana miscarried the baby. The emotional weight of the miscarriage still weighs on her concience to this day. She still performs with Tsirk Poddelki, but is she no longer the main event. She performs to "Strike the Slate" by Shaman's Harvest, and refuses to listen to anything made by Rihanna or Steam Powered Giraffe anymore. However, Svetlana still wears the ring Grigor was going to give her, and she never takes it off.

why are all my contest stories sad in a sense
Don't underestimate my ability to somehow fit Steam Powered Giraffe into the skin/story. ;D

I'm thinking about changing the shade on the actual skin part of the skin, but idk.
