So thinking ahead to 2121, I have gone with a future where people have moved even further from interactions IRL. In this version of 2121, everyone spends the majority of their time in a type of virtual reality. If you remove the hat layer, you can see what she looks like in the real world. She has ocular implants and a port on the back of her head that connects to her brain and nervous system as well as providing intravenous nutrition and hydration. With the hat layer on you can see her as she appears in the virtual world. People really only leave the virtual world for maintenance and tend to think of the virtual world as the real world.
