Hey guys! This is my contest entry for Emotions. I worked very hard on this, so if you like it leave a diamond, it greatens my chance to get in the finals. I'm aiming for top 50 this month c: So without any delay, here is the story! Based off of Hearts for Sale by Miyuli.
In a land far away, there was love. And peace. It was a happy community where practically nothing was wrong. This all sounds fine, but with love comes heartbreak. Think about it. When you date a person, you either marry them or break up. So when someone's heart breaks, there's only one person to go to. The Heart Smith.
"Hearts for sale! See which one fits you!" A young girl by the name of Amiryth stop on a corner holding a basket of hearts. It was her job. She saw a young man going up the trail that led to the Heart Smith's workplace. She wondered if he was going to be another one of the Smith's customers.
He was slumped over his desk, busy at work with this pesky, teenage heart that doesn't want to love her dad. "Dammit... Of all the hearts I've had, this is the nastiest." Right as he was about to give up for the day, a young man walked through the door. "Hello," the man said, "Is this the place where the Heart Smith lives?" He looked around, uncertain. "It certainly is, and I am he," The Heart Smith said. "Anything I can help you with?" The young man waited in the doorway for a bit, then came in. "Yes, actually. My heart is broken, you see, from a long relationship. I need it healed by this Saturday." The Heart Smith looked at the calandar above his desk. It was Wednesday! Sure, hearts are small things, but they're delicate and need time to heal. "Why do you need it by Saturday? Are you getting married?" The Heart Smith asked nervously. "Yes, actually," The man said. "I want to be able to love my wife with all my heart, and that's why I came to you." The Heart Smith was shocked. He didn't know I he could get it done. "Well, I know one thing," The Heart Smith said. "I WILL try my best." "T-thank you so much! I will check back in a bit. Bye!" The man walked out the door, and left The Heart Smith alone with his heart.
Amiryth was again by the corner, selling hearts. She saw the young man go to the Smith's place, and she waved. He waved back.
It was Friday. The Heart Smith, still working on the young soon-to-be groom's heart, was getting tired. It was almost done however. The young man appeared in the doorway. "Hi, Heart Smith." Said the man. The Heart Smith was shocked to see him. "Hi, hello..." He stammered. "I brought you a treat for working on my heart so hard." In his hand was a small cake. "Wow, none of my other customers have brought me cake before," The Heart Smith said. "I just wanted to thank you for what you're doing. It means a lot to me that I will finally love my fiancé again." The young man said. "Absolutely no problem, it's what I do." "By the way," the young man started, "Can you have it done by tomorrow? Not to rush you or anything." "Of course, I pride myself on my quick delivery." The Heart Smith said. "Oh, thank you! I'll some by tomorrow to have it picked up." The young man walked out the door.
"Hello!" The young man entered the workplace. "Anybody here?" No one was. But sitting on a pedestal, was his heart, fully fixed, with a note. The man picked it up and started to read. "To the man who is getting married today, here is your heart. I worked on it longer than any project of mine to see that your wife and you will be happy. I'm sorry I couldn't be here in person. From, THS." The man was outstanded at the handiwork that the Smith did. "It's... Perfect." The man loved it. He couldn't wait to get married. He wrote a note of his own, and went off to his wedding. The Heart Smith came out of the room he was in. "I'm glad he liked it." The Heart Smith sighed and sat down. Amiryth entered the room. "Smith, why did you hide from the man? Surely it would have made you happy to see him glad." "Amiryth! You scared me. I didn't want to be there because it made me sad to see him in love, when I have no one of mine, and don't call me Shirley." The Heart Smith stood up. "Why do you sell hearts?" He inquired. "I do it because none of these fit me. In all my hears, I can't find one that is just right." The Heart Smith thought about this. "Here." He reached into his chest, and pulled out his own, glowing heart. "Smith! You're giving me your heart?" Amiryth was shocked. "Yes, you need it more than me. I can always craft a new one." Amiryth leaped forward and have the Smith a big hug. "Thank you, Smith. Thank you."
A young girl by the name of Amy sat in her operating room, writing in her journal. A doctor came in. "Are you ready for your operation tomorrow, Amy? We're lucky we found a donor in time." The doctor stood closer to her. "Yes," Amy said. "The Heart Smith is very kind." "The who?" The doctor inquired. "You probably haven't heard of him," Amy said. "But he's a hero. He saves lives." Amy closed her notebook.
Thanks guys for reading! if you liked the skin, PLEASE leave a diamond! It will help me get into the finals. My goal is top 50 this time.

Attention: This skin was inspired by "Hearts for Sale," by miyuli. I am in NO way saying the story is all mine, or is the character. The story inspired me. c: also to judges, if you find this unfit, or maybe I didn't give enough credit to the artist, it's your call to remove it from the contest, but I do not see this as wrong for PMC's skin section, so I don't think this should be taken down. Thanks!!
I GOT 20TH! This was SO much higher than I expected to get and this is honestly just so incredible. Thank you for everyone who diamonded.
