This is my contest entry, I put alot of time and effort into this entry and I would really appreciate a diamond and maybe if a favourite :)

His story: (Imagine that fish can talk and have human emotions)

After a earthquake that shook most of Puru, worlds population was worried and concered about the people affected by the earthquake. However no one stopped to think about the poor fish that the earthquake had affected. A mile below the surface of the water where the Anglerfish live, the rocks, their home, had been moved... destroyed by the earthquake. Amoungst the rubble there was one fish, this little, lost fish; whilest all of the fish around him had swum away to safety, this little fish stayed asleep, only to awake traped...

After a minute of fustration and coming to terms with what had happened he realised he had been trapped, left by his friends, his family, his entire school. He swum frantically searching for a small gap in the grey rocks that had surrounded him. After a small while he found a gap, a small gap, but a gap all the same. He took a swim up (A run up, but fish don't run so he swum up instead). He was caught in the hole, exacerbated, he wriggled from side to side.

He was out, free in the vast expances of the ocean. A moment of joy went though his mind, but that was replaced by fear; he was alone, open to predators and away from his school. His only option was to find his school, but where had they gone?

For hours he swum, looking for anything that resembled his fellow school of friends. But to no prevail. Hunger and tiredness set in. He had to find a place to rest, as the earthquake had disrupted and moved so much of the landscape, he had no idea where and what was safe. Unwillingly he found a small cove a rested.

Some time later he awake, hungry, very hungry. What could he do? He hadn't seen another fish since before the earthquake. He hadn't seen any prey since before the earthquake. He dragged himself from his cove, his realised his main focus was now finding food, then finding his friends. After some time searching he saw a small piece of planktoon floating. He swum as quck as his could over to the planktoon, savouring the taste of the tiny piece of nutrition. He carried on swimming, wondering if he would ever find his friends and family.

Another day went by, still hungry only eating the few peices of planktoon that he stumbled across and still no closer to finding his school. Another restless night in a small, uncomfortable cove at the bottom of the ocean. A new day dawned and a new search for his school of friends. As he swum he began thinking to himself about how his life had changed in just 3 days. He also wondered why he was left alone, to die. He asked himself, did he want answers or did he want his friends back?

More and more he thought he would never find any other living fish, let alone his school. Tiredness was setting in yet again. He thought he was hallucinating when he saw a small glimmer. Not only was it a glimmer of hope, it was a glimmer of fish... fish he recognised. He swum, faster and faster. Delighted and overcome as he caught up his school, the other fish turned. Suprised as they saw him, they assumed he was dead. He went to his friends asking all the questions he had asked him self. And their answers: "Sorry." That was all they had to say. So much for being friends, leaving him for dead.

He decided that it would be safest to stay with the school. They are still searching for a new place to live... searching, just searching.
