(This is for the Biome Dependent Character Skin Contest. The Biome of choice is the underground biome, the Lush Caves.)
*You are an explorer who fears no Biome. Who fears no cave. One day- you come across a rather impressive Lush Cave, and you eventually find a book titled '∴ᔑ∷リ╎リ⊣ ℸ ̣ 𝙹 ℸ ̣ ∷ᒷᓭ!¡ᔑᓭᓭᒷ∷ᓭ'. You're not sure what it means, but you open the book, and take a gander at what's inside.*
Log Book, Day 4
Finally, I've found something useful in these caverns! An abandoned, underground library. Most of the books are written in some sort of gibberish I don't quite understand. But, there are also many books which are blank. With these books I now carry, I will document my findings in these rumoured 'unique' caverns I've yet to find. Stories amongst villagers about caves underground almost as green as the surface. Nonsense! But- as a young academic, wanting to make his mark on the world, I must search for it anyways, on the slim chance that I do find these supposed 'Lush Caves'.
Log Book, Day 5
Another day has passed, I'm still not sure these caves exist. Though, I did see an odd creature of incredibly bright green. It hissed at me, so I naturally ran away. I can't imagine what would happen if such creatures existed on the surface....

I was ambushed by a large group of bats today. Still no signs of these caves.
Log Book, Day 7
Odd. The deeper I go, the more of this strange glowing vine I see. Helpful, at least, had I not already owned a lantern, which is very easy to re-light with the coal you can easily find within these caves.
These logs need to be more interesting. I've decided to simply keep count of the days and write nothing until something interesting happens.

Odd, I thought I saw...
No, my mind is playing tricks on me. But I could've sworn I saw a bush of sorts. Underground though? Certainly not, right? Just in case, I'm going to go in the direction in which I thought I saw this bush.

I definitely saw some kind of bush. It was hovering, and it had eyes. But it was not hostile. Despite that, the way it looks at me is piercing. I've decided to call it 'Glare'. It's leading me somewhere.
IT'S REAL
Log Book, Day 40
I've been spending so much time in these caves that I forgot to document about them. Berries that glow grow on the vines. Large leaves grow out of stems in the ground. The walls are covered in roots. The ceiling is decorated with pink flowers. The Glare led me to a wonderful place. It's truly a magnificent locale. I believe I even saw another rare creature here, swimming freely in the waters!
I've decided I'm going to spend more time here. There's enough berries to last me a long time, and before they run out, more will grow in the places from which I have plucked.

I can't get out.

I've come so deep into these caves, and I haven't been able to find my way back. My clothes are ruined, my tools are broken. Everywhere I go that leads up, it's too steep for me to climb.

I've begun using the materials of these caves to make clothes that will last me until I can get out of this god forsaken underground jungle. I hope that that day comes soon. Each day, I find myself getting more and more nauseous. My mind is growing weaker. I don't know how long I can keep this up. I have to go deeper, I have no other choice.

I love writing stuff like this in my free time. So it was a natural addition to the post when I saw that the contest encourages writing about the skin's origins in the desc. :)
