“Steve, you must listen to me,” begged the testificate farseer. “You can not go on killing the Sea Guardians and expect no consequence.”


“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Steve rolled his eyes, “I can take care of myself.  There’s nothing they can do to me; I kill ‘em before they even know I’m there!”  He turned to leave.  When Steve was almost completely out the door, the oracle spoke:


“You’ve killed too many Guardians,


Blinded by your own rage,


And he is always watching,


Beware the Purple Sage!”


Steve looked back at the farseer angrily.  He opened his mouth to speak, then closed it and darted out of the room.  Nothing would stop what Steve must do.  The prismarine he would receive from killing the Guardians could not be found anywhere else in the world.  


As soon as he arrived home, Steve prepared for his dive.  He put on his Respiration/Aqua Affinity Helmet, his Depth Strider Boots, and he was ready to go.  Closing his door behind him, he turned to the path that would lead him to the sea, but he froze.  Staring him down from less than a few blocks away was the Purple Sage.  Steve knew he was in for the fight of his life.



Well, here's my contribution to the Boss Battle Skin Contest.  The Purple Sage is the next Minecraft boss, sort of in control of the Guardians under the sea.  He's very much open to your interpretation of what he is; perhaps a guardian of the guardians.
