The Sea-Devil is a beast that disguises herself as an injured Freta woman in order to lure shore-hailing sailors and sea-dwelling hunters towards her, where she then manipulates them to give them what she wants, be it intimacy, jewels, or even their own soul. She eventually devours them in her true, horrifying form, an abomination among all of the repugnant beasts that dwell in the Underworld.
If you see an injured Freta woman on the shores of the Wrel Sea, avoid her at all costs. Do not let her devour you as she has devoured countless others.
