Once upon a time, though a misfit in her community, Emmin walked without shame. Spoke without sorrow. Thought without worry. She was perfect. She just wondered what made her such a misfit, her dad was a demon, her mom an angel. She was born, she had horns and wings. What was so wrong about that? Because of this, she was never invited to anything. This didn't bother her. But one day, she received an invitation to a ball. Not only that, but it came with a box of milk chocolates, her favorite. The night of the ball just so happened to fall on her birthday. The night before the ball, she received another letter, it said, "Wear this tiara to the ball," she wondered why se had to, but the tiara was beautiful nonetheless so she decided to wear it to the ball. On the night of the ball, she arrived perfectly on time. Peoples heads turned, not in disgust, but in wonder. Murmurs came from the crowd, "she's so pretty" and "who is she?" and "do you think I could dance with her?". But then, the crowd silenced, the prince walked in. "If she is willing, may I have Emmin Klark come up?" She walked slowly up to the prince. "May I call you Dusklit, my dear?" Emmin blushed fiercely. "Yes, of course, Your Majesty" The prince smiled "Oh please, just call me Noah"
