Miner's Log 12
Captain "Frosting The Warlord": Mining Expedition
Today we found something buried deep below the layers of stone and lava. Obsidian. However, this obsidian seems to be strange as the miners found a upper and lower torso along with a head chiselled into the face of the obsidian. We brushed it off and proceeded on with the collection thinking that it was possibly a player who fell in. However, something disturbs me about this.
We finally made it up to the surface just a few moments ago with the last shipment of ores and obsidian. Enough to supply us with enough weapons and materials for when we go to the nether to get glowstone and nether quartz. However, there is a slight problem. The portal doesn't seem to work. The miner's placed every piece in the right order but it still hasn't opened no matter what. We rechecked the problem and noticed a piece of the piece of obsidian with the face on it was facing upwards. I'm not sure but it looks as though the facial expression changed from just be a petrified image to one that resembled a horrified creature tormented for years. It ran chills down my spine. My workers and I pulled out and decided to try again later.
I was resting in the lodge outside the NPC Villagers close to the site. It was approaching mid-night when I heard something outside my wooden door. Something like stacking. I was about to ignore it pressuming that my colleges had been trying to get the portal to work but then I heard a sound like something being sucked into a vaccuum . I thought that one of them had done it. I went outside to congratulate the genius but I saw no one. It appears the obsidina blocks with the head, lower and upper torso needed to be stacked into a specific order which made it resemble a normal human anatomy. However, that petrified stare embedded into my thoughts. I thought since no one was around I could gather my mining tools and get a head start. Taunting me though was that petrified creature staring me dead in the eye. Mocking me. However, I wasn't going to let a few texture glitches get in my way. This is the last log I shall make before entering the portal. Wish me best of luck

Captain "Adventure Is My Middle Name": Underground Mining Lab
We found a random specimen encased in the Obsidian. It shows no vital signs however we intend to find out what could of caused it to imprint a perfect form of face, body and legs on these pieces of obsidian. Fascinating isn't it.
