This is my entry for the Cyberpunk skin contest.

Story:

Jacob has always been interested in technology. Whenever his friends came over he would fix their broken technology. Of course, living in 3012 means there would be a LOT of technology to fix. However, Jacob could never make a profit off his fixes and his family was poor so he could not get a computer of his own. One day an old man approached Jacob. The man asked Jacob to fix his computer. This computer was strangely eerie. It would emit a blue-gray aura and lines of green code would fill the screen. "If you fix my computer you can have it," the old man said to Jacob. How could Jacob refuse? He thought how cool it would be to show his friends his computer. Without hesitation Jacob accepted the man's offer. A smile creeped up the old man's face. Jacob was puzzled as to why the man slowly walked away from him. "Wait!" Jacob exclaimed. But the old man was too far away to hear. When Jacob examined the computer something strange happened. Lines of green code ran up his body and a dark aura covered his hands. Jacobs parents were shocked when they saw him. They turned him over to the police. Jacob was cursed to live in solitary for the rest of his life. He promised himself that he would get revenge. Jacob had become corrupt. Corrupted from a virus that rendered his kindness useless.
