This one kinda reminds me of the ice level enemies in Castle Crashers, for some reason. Interesting work with the hat-layer, I like it.

Thanks, I really should try and make myself some shader layers... would make it so much easier instead of just doing my normal routine of slowly changing value and saturation by a factor of two or so...
