It was just like any other night. Me and my friends were finding a good place to play some games, I won't lie they were drinking games but we were teens. We found a nice spot it was a small clearing surrounded by trees.
About 30 minuets into a game I heard a crunching noise. I though nothing of it until I heard it again. I wanted to say something but like every other young male I didn't want to seem like a wimp. I nudged my best friend at the time who was sitting next to me "hey did you hear that?"
He looked at me with a confused look on his face "what?"
"listen" I said in almost a whisper. The crunching noise came again.
"oh ****" he said jumping to his feet, he looked behind him. His face was no longer the chilled face it was before it was now pale and stuck with fear.
"g-guy-s..." he'd never stuttered before. He was pointing into the darkness. I stood up and looked to where his finger was pointing. I almost lost control of my bladder. This, this THING was standing? no it was crouching around a tree. I'd say it was looking at us but it had no eyes, just a mouth. The jaw was hanging with bloody coloured sliver cascading from in between its yellow teeth. It had ripped clothes they looked old and worn.
Emily, I girl who I didn't really know until before tonight screamed a horrifying scream. The others noticed what we were looking at. In a matter of seconds I found myself running, I'd honestly never ran so fast.
I'm lucky to be alive. To this day I still have no idea what the thing was, there's no account on the internet I've been looking for years now. When I try to ask people if they remember they just ignore my question. Please if anyone knows what it was that I witnessed that knight then please tell me. I just need to know before I go back looking for it...
