A sailer's fear on the open seas can conder up the most horrific imagination of what lurks beneath.
undefined
Info
The Ship (the head) is sailing the open seas and the sailer is imagining his ship getting attacked by a sea monster (What Lurks Beneath) from under the water. It may be the bad weather or even some simple sea life that is moving his boat around, but sometimes what one can imagine is far more scarier then what is really out there.

This is such a blatant rip off of this skin:

Albeit yours is done much better, but still you were clearly copying it.

I wouldn't go as far as to call it a copy or rip off. It was based on the same idea...or inspired by it.
Just like you wouldn't call these skins: skin#1 skin#2 skin#3 copied or ripped off, but they were all based off of or inspired by the same idea.

The reason I consider it a rip off is becuase it had only ever been done once. Then when you did it everyone praised you for originality.
Once again youve remade the skin a lot better than the original though.

Also what makes it different is that those 3 skins are based off a technique. The ship of your skin and the ship of his are almost pixel for pixel- identical other than the coloring and some additional sails.

I don't see why it matters how many other versions there are.
Also, not sure what you are looking at, but the pixels of the ships are all completely different.

The difference between this and the examples you gave is  that is a technique, where as this is an original skin idea.
By pixels I mean that the ships are very similar.

Furthermore, what really bothers me here is that this skin was praised for originality. I just think its dishonest to not even leave mention of the original skin you were basically replicating, but with a lot better skill than it was previously made.

I think most of the praise was for the monster design, which was done completely different than that skin. The only thing that was the same was both skins use the boat for the head, which I could have given credit to but didn't at the time. But again, I was only using the same idea and took inspiration from that skin to make this skin. I see nothing wrong with that.

There are no skin viewers for the new skin format. I took screen shots in MCskin3d and edited them in Photoshop.
