The frog we call green frog in Europe, is known in the US as the "edible frog" ... sadly. (Maybe that's why Wibbit can be seen crying from time to time.) Recently we've seen more and more of these guys around where I live, which is a good sign. It's thanks to the water quality and biodiversity improving.
These frogs live in ponds and creeks, and they sit by the water to spot prey. Their diet includes small fish that may swim under the lilly pads that they like to sit on! (This whole salmon is a bit of an exaggeration.)
