The Allgemeine SS was the administrative and non-combatant division of Hitler's Schutzstaffel. During Nazi party meetings and events, these soldiers were commonly seen guarding the doors or important officers. The SS recruited men who either joined the Nazi Party during its beginning, or from Hitler Youth candidates who were worthy. These soldiers were usually not equipped with field gear, but only with a parade rifle and bayonet.
