P.S. a few great pros, and a few minor cons:

Great pros:

This is genius, I love how blocks just drop, gives it a tad-bit of a retro game feel.

I can see what's dropped even when I'm far away, this is useful in some scenarios.

Minor cons:

Rat mining(?) is going to be a bit difficult with the cobblestone in your face all the time.

(?)Rat mining is a type of strip mining where you lie down and dig a 1 by 1 tunnel.

Regular items like axes, bows, armor, etc. look very small now compared to the massive dropped blocks



Overall a cool idea, not for everyone but still a little based
