Okay so im doing my own green hill zone. Check it out! Im directly pulling the color pallet from sonic 1 and 2 (maby alittle 3/snk later) However I am redrawing a lot of the textures by hand since even sonic didn't use 16x16 textures.

This is a beta however i think you will still enjoy it as the majority of the terrain is replaces.

I might also add that this pack is based on sonic IN Minecraft... not making Sonic out of Minecraft... therefor materials should still more or less feel proper (IE: wood is wood, grass, is grass) this limits the complexity of the textures however in that i am going to be unable to make certain things and completely match sonic in ways some people may like... however the general Minecraft experience should be kept in tact so that this skin is a ALTERNATIVE to Minecraft skins rather than a REPLACEMENT.

Additional Notes

Okay I have now added a lot more textures like plants, totems, simple tree's, better wood, sand, sandstone, stone slabs, and a lot more.
