After going through ALL 1x1 to 16x16 (and other) texture packs I decided to just make my own based off of the original default texture. Go here to see all the good packs I found:

A MineCraft FilterPack v1.5 Made By GenBOOM
Inspired by the lack of decent texture packs based off of the default pack.

This is not 2.0 because I know I will need to tweak some things so for now its 1.5.
I will make a 2.0 eventually! (2.0=Final for this pack series)

EVERYTHING in this pack has been put through a filter.
There are 0 missing items and 0 known issues as of 09/16/2011
This pack should work on Windows and MAC

Using THIS TEMPLATE and the latest MineCraft textures found in my minecraft.jar and then put through some PAINT.NET filters, as well as reduced the file sizes using http://www.getgimp.com/ and http://www.win-rar.com/download.html to compress the pack into a ZIP file.

I used http://www.bandicam.com/ to record the video and http://download.cnet.com/PhotoStage-Slideshow-Producer/3000-13631_4-10756137.html to edit the video.

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/94310-173-single-player-commands-v2111-mcp-pack-updated/ has not been updated yet, so I'm sorry you don't get to see many mobs in the video.

Everything has gone through a lot of adjustments to be visually stimulating and at the same time easier on the eyes-
Hue
Saturation
Brightness
Contrast
Glow
Noise Reduction
Clouds (an effect that was used to make the clouds)
Layer Blending
