Could you update it so that the bed only becomes the tent when it's placed on outdoor blocks like grass, dirt, podzol, mycelium, etc.? That would be really fitting

Actually, beds are not entities. They're double blocks, like doors.

nope, they are entities, you can edit their models using optifine entity models, making them tile entities, like chests, and boats
