after the dot write mcpack instead of zip. it should work then

No, this will not work. See if the contents of the .zip are just a folder, and within that folder are the pack.png, pack.mcmeta, etc. If they are, just take the folder out of the .zip and put it into your resourcepacks folder.

I like this, but it's worth mentioning that clear connected windows only really work in small windows. I understand the desire to have perfectly clean windows, but at a large scale, they begin to look like empty holes, which is a major hazard to anyone flying with an elytra.
I like the pack quite a lot. But just remember the implications of having completely clear windows.

I agree. Mojang has made it so almost every block can't be transparent (to prevent X-ray). For some odd reason clear glass is solid with no filling texture. So trying to add a slight bit of transparency so you can tall whether it's glass or not is impossible.
