Why this pack?
Not many people have heard of this offensive caricature of jewish people, but the money-hungry merchant with a hooked nose portrayal is unfortunately a common stereotype that still affects many jews today. It's not fun to play a game where the characters look like they came from a 1960s propaganda poster. Hence, Better Villagers!
Unlike a lot of anti-antisemitic packs, this one does more than just remove the iconic villager nose: it gives them new facial features that are reminescent of Steve's. And this isn't limited to villagers either - the wandering trader, illagers and witch also received a glow-up. For pillagers, the Bad Omen effect and Totem of Undying were also changed.
Lastly, the pack tackles Iron and Snow Golems. The names have been changed to "Iron Giant" and "Snowman" respectively, and the Iron Golem has a new skin altogether, based on the Blast Furnace Golem concept.
Includes mod support for:
- Supplementaries.
The pack is currently for 1.21, but if you want to use it for previous versions, extract the files and click on the "pack.mcmeta" document within the file, and simply change "pack format" to the corresponding number. I recommend editing the document with Notepad++ because it keeps the .mcmeta file.

Because the villager noses makes them ugly.
I have one question! If I were to draw some Minecraft art using these textures as reference (not giving the villagers big noses, for example) would you want me to give credit/link to this page?
